1. Information We Collect And Sources
This section is our notice at collection. It describes the categories of personal information Card Throne Room may collect, the sources of that information, and the reasons we use it.
We collect information you provide, information created while you use Card Throne Room, information from connected services you authorize, information from service providers, and technical information from your browser or device.
- Account information, such as your name, email address, profile image, authentication identifiers, plan status, account settings, and invite or access status.
- Card and seller workflow data, such as uploaded front and back card photos, scan batches, card matches, listing titles, SKUs, card condition, variants, prices, notes, export settings, inventory records, review queues, and reports.
- Connected-service data, such as eBay OAuth connection records, listing data, order data, inventory sync data, item IDs, and related marketplace fields when you connect or use eBay tools.
- Billing and affiliate data, such as plan, subscription status, billing email, customer identifiers, invoices, payment status, referral attribution, commission balances, payout requests, and the PayPal email you provide. Full payment card details are handled by our payment processor.
- Support and communication data, such as messages, feedback, troubleshooting details, and files you send to us.
- Outbound link and affiliate data, such as marketplace link destination, partner or custom link labels, click and referrer diagnostics, and purchase attribution information that affiliate or marketplace partners make available to us.
- Technical and usage data, such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, feature usage, errors, logs, security events, cookies, local storage, and similar diagnostics.
We do not intentionally collect government ID numbers, full payment card numbers, health information, biometric identifiers, or sensitive personal information unrelated to seller workflows. Please do not upload that kind of information into Card Throne Room.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to operate, secure, support, and improve Card Throne Room. This includes:
- Creating and authenticating accounts.
- Saving batches, scans, card matches, inventory records, listing settings, exports, and analytics.
- Processing uploaded card photos and extracted text to identify cards, attach market price context, and prepare listing data.
- Connecting to eBay or other services when you authorize an integration.
- Managing subscriptions, quota, billing status, and access to paid features.
- Attributing affiliate referrals, calculating commissions, reviewing payout requests, preventing duplicate or abusive claims, and maintaining financial audit records.
- Showing sponsored marketplace links and measuring aggregate affiliate or outbound-link performance.
- Responding to support requests, debugging issues, preventing abuse, and protecting the service.
- Improving matching, listing prep, inventory workflows, performance, and reliability.
- Complying with legal, tax, accounting, security, and enforcement obligations.
If a privacy law requires a legal basis for processing, our bases may include providing the service you requested, our legitimate interests in operating and securing Card Throne Room, your consent, and compliance with legal obligations.
3. AI, OCR, And Uploaded Card Images
Card Throne Room uses automated matching, OCR, catalog lookup, and other processing to help identify cards and prepare seller workflows. Uploaded card photos, derived images, extracted text, and card metadata may be processed by Card Throne Room systems and service providers used for cloud hosting, storage, OCR, AI, and diagnostics.
Do not upload personal documents, payment cards, IDs, private messages, or other sensitive non-card content into card scan fields.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose information only as needed for Card Throne Room, including with:
- Cloud hosting, database, storage, authentication, logging, and security providers.
- Payment processors for subscriptions and billing.
- eBay or another connected service when you authorize an integration or request an action involving that service.
- Affiliate, marketplace, and outbound-link partners when you click sponsored or affiliate marketplace links.
- AI, OCR, analytics, email, and support providers used to operate or improve Card Throne Room.
- Professional advisors, auditors, legal authorities, or other parties when required to comply with law, protect rights, prevent abuse, or respond to legal process.
- A successor or potential successor in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets involving Card Throne Room.
5. Cookies, Local Storage, And Similar Technology
Card Throne Room uses browser storage, cookies, and similar technology for sign-in, session state, sidebar preferences, saved workflow state, pending affiliate-referral attribution, security, diagnostics, and feature behavior. You can control some browser storage through your browser settings, but disabling it may break sign-in or saved workflow features.
Card Throne Room does not currently use third-party advertising trackers for cross-site behavioral advertising. Because the service does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, browser "Do Not Track" signals and Global Privacy Control signals do not change most Card Throne Room behavior today. If we introduce a use that legally requires honoring an opt-out preference signal, we will process that signal as required by law.
6. Connected Services
When you connect eBay or another external service, that service may send us account, listing, order, inventory, token, or status information needed for the features you use. We use connected-service data to perform requested actions, show analytics, reconcile inventory, and troubleshoot sync issues. You can disconnect an integration where the product provides that option or by contacting us.
Disconnecting a service may stop future sync activity but may not remove historical records, audit logs, or actions already sent to that service.
7. Retention
We keep each category of information for as long as needed to provide Card Throne Room, maintain your account and seller workflows, comply with law, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent abuse, maintain backups, and preserve audit records. Retention periods vary by category and context. For example, session and diagnostic logs may be shorter lived than billing, legal, inventory, marketplace, or audit records.
You may request deletion of account data, but some records may remain where retention is required or reasonably necessary for security, billing, tax, legal, backup, fraud prevention, dispute, connected-service, or audit purposes.
8. Your Choices, Privacy Rights, And Appeals
You can update some account settings, listing settings, and workflow data inside Card Throne Room. You can also contact us to request access, correction, deletion, export, or restriction of personal information where applicable. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
Depending on your location, you may have additional privacy rights, including rights to know, access, correct, delete, port, opt out of sale or sharing, opt out of targeted advertising, opt out of certain profiling, limit certain sensitive personal information uses, and avoid discrimination for exercising privacy rights. Card Throne Room does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are commonly used in U.S. state privacy laws.
Authorized agents may submit a request on your behalf where applicable. We may ask for proof of authorization and may ask you to verify your identity directly. If we deny a privacy request, you may appeal by replying to our decision email or contacting us at the address below with "Privacy Appeal" in the subject line.
9. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect Card Throne Room information. No online service is perfectly secure, and you are responsible for protecting your account, browser session, email access, and connected-service credentials.
10. Children
Card Throne Room is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information to Card Throne Room, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
11. International Use
Card Throne Room is operated from the United States. If you use the service from another location, your information may be processed in the United States and other places where our service providers operate.
12. Changes To This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Card Throne Room after an updated Policy is posted means the updated Policy applies to your use of the service.
