How to use Card Lister

1. Set up your account and profile

Open Card Lister > Configuration before your first batch. Region and seller location belong to your account. Listing profiles hold your title, pricing, policy, and image settings.

1. Open Account Settings, choose your Region and Seller Location, then click Save settings.
2. Open Configuration Profiles. Use the default Configuration Profile or create one for a specific listing workflow.
3. In eBay Policies, copy the exact Shipping, Return, and Payment Policy names from eBay. Use Manage to open eBay Business Policies.
4. In Store Categories, save category names and IDs if you use an eBay Store. Otherwise, leave them blank.
5. In Title Builder, choose the title fields and check the Live eBay Title Preview.
6. In Pricing, set the Price Multiplier, Price Floor, Round Up to Cent, Best Offer settings, optional Advanced Pricing Rules, and optional Missing Condition Price Fallbacks shared by Card Lister pricing templates.
7. In Description, build the Listing Description with fields such as {Title}, {Name}, {Set}, {Condition}, and {Price}.
8. In Images, choose Card Image Padding, whether to Append front/back image, and up to 3 extra listing images.
9. Click Save profile.

2. Create a batch

Choose the flow for the cards you are selling: List Singles, List Lots, List w/ Stock Images, or List Slabs.

1. In Batch Setup, enter the Name and SKU Prefix. Leave Increment on for values such as CT-001, CT-002, and CT-003. Use Start At to begin at a different number.
2. For List Singles or List Lots, choose Scan & Match or Manual (Blank Listings) under Entry Method. Manual creates blank rows or lot components from your photos. You fill in their details.
3. Choose the Game, Configuration, Condition, Variant, and optional Store Category. Manual mode hides Variant because you choose Finish on each row later.
4. For singles, choose eBay Fixed Price or eBay Variation under Listing Type. Variation batches also need their parent listing details.
5. Leave Variant on Auto only when you want Card Lister to choose among the card types, finishes, or variants in a mixed batch.
6. Use Fast Scan only when faster matching is worth reduced accuracy. Use Advanced matching when you need Require, Prefer, or Avoid rules.
7. For photo batches, choose Front Only or Front + Back, then add photos. Stock Images can use Search Cards or Build from Set; Slabs can use a PSA Order CSV or CGC certification-number lookup.
8. Review Pre-Upload Preview. Use Swap Front/Back if pairs are reversed. Click Scan Batch for Scan & Match, Create Listings for Manual singles, or Create Lot for a manual lot.

3. Review Match and List

Check every card match and listing field before export. Market prices help you set a price, but the final listing is yours to review.

Manual blank listings skip Match and market pricing. Review them entirely in List; Card Throne preserves your seller-entered title and price instead of rebuilding them from catalog data.

Card Lister keeps titles you edit when you change a card or reopen the batch. Regenerate Titles replaces titles on selected non-manual rows, so use it only when you want new titles.

Market uses the selected condition. If that quote is missing, it shows $0.00 by default. You can enable Missing Condition Price Fallbacks in Configuration to try up to three other conditions in your saved order. Each fallback keeps the same printing and shows its source condition and adjustment. Pricing rules then apply to that estimate. A fallback does not replace an exact market quote or change a price you entered manually.

4. Check readiness and export

Click Check Readiness to review the eBay listing requirements. Then click Export CSV and choose the destination. Each export runs its own readiness check, so fix any additional TCGplayer or Mana Pool blocker shown before the download starts.

• Choose eBay for an eBay listing CSV.
• Choose TCGplayer for supported raw singles. Lots are not eligible.
• Choose Mana Pool for eligible MTG raw singles with exact TCGplayer SKU IDs. Lots, slabs, and non-MTG cards are not eligible.
• Manual blank listings export an eBay CSV without the marketplace chooser.

• Every eBay row has a title.
• eBay titles are 80 characters or less.
• Every eBay row has a listing price.
• Raw cards have a condition.
• Slabs have a grade and certification number.
• Rows have front images.
• SKUs are not duplicated unless you intentionally combined quantity.
• TCGplayer and Mana Pool CSV rows need an exact TCGplayer SKU ID for the condition, printing, and language.

5. Finish or reopen the batch

Use Card Lister > Batches to reopen saved work, keep editing, or export again. After you successfully upload the exported file to its marketplace, click Mark As Listed. Downloading a CSV alone does not prove the listings went live.

1. Set up Inventory Manager

Start in Card Lister > Configuration. Inventory Manager is included automatically with Beta and Unlimited accounts; titles, pricing, policies, descriptions, and images belong to Configuration Profiles.

1. Open Account Settings. Choose the Region and Seller Location, then click Save settings.
2. Open Configuration Profiles and choose or create the profile you will use.
3. Set up eBay Policies, Store Categories, Title Builder, Pricing, Description, and Images.
4. Click Save profile.
5. Open Inventory Manager and click Connect eBay if the account is not connected.

2. Import existing eBay listings

Start with an import so Inventory Manager can show your current eBay listings.

1. Open Inventory Manager > Imports and click Import from eBay. This imports active listings from the connected seller account, including photos and item specifics. You do not need a file.
2. You can leave the page while the import runs; it continues in the background and resumes on its own if interrupted. Wait for the import to show Done.
3. If the import finds rows whose listing no longer exists on eBay, it shows a removals preview. Nothing is removed until you review it and click Apply removals.
4. Open Inventory and confirm titles, SKUs, available quantities, prices, photos, and eBay item links.
5. To import a file, expand Prefer the CSV report instead?, download an Active Listings report from eBay Seller Hub, and upload the original file without opening it in Excel or Google Sheets so eBay item numbers and Custom Labels stay exact.

3. Create and review a batch

Use the same Batch Setup, upload or search, Match, List, and Check Readiness flow described under Free. Inventory Manager access is account-wide, so choose the Configuration Profile with the listing rules you want.

1. Open Card Lister > List Singles, List Lots, List w/ Stock Images, or List Slabs.
2. Complete Batch Setup, including Listing Type when the flow supports it.
3. Upload photos, search stock images, or import slabs, then build the batch.
4. For scanned rows, use Match to verify identity, Variant, Finish, and Condition. Manual blank listings skip Match.
5. Use List to verify titles, Your Price, SKUs, quantities, and photos.
6. Click Check Readiness and fix every blocker.

4. Push to Inventory

Click Push to Inventory when the batch is ready. In Push to Inventory Options, choose List on eBay, List on Mana Pool, or both when those destinations are available. Review these choices before confirming. Selected marketplace destinations start live listing work. To keep the batch in Inventory Manager only, clear all marketplace destinations when the options are available.

• List on eBay is selected by default for supported Card Lister batches.
• List on Mana Pool may appear after you connect Mana Pool for a Magic: The Gathering batch. Only eligible raw MTG singles with the required TCGplayer product match publish there; ineligible rows, including lots, slabs, Manual Blank Listings, non-MTG cards, and eBay Variation rows, are reported and skipped.
• You may choose eBay, Mana Pool, or both. A Mana Pool-only choice imports the batch to Inventory Manager first, then publishes eligible rows in the background. Follow progress in Inventory Manager > Batches.
• For fixed-price, non-lot batches, Check Inventory Manager for possible duplicates is optional and off by default. Lot and eBay Variation batches do not show this control.
• Manual blank listings also skip the duplicate catalog match check and always remain separate catalog-unmatched rows.
• If the control is available and you turn it on, review every suggested existing listing before approving a merge. Leave it off to create new listings without running the duplicate suggestion scan.
• An approved merge adds the incoming physical stock to the existing Inventory listing instead of creating a duplicate eBay listing.
• The merge choice keeps the existing eBay price by default. Choose the Card Lister price only when you intend to change the live price.
• For eBay, linked inventory rows appear only after eBay returns item IDs and Card Throne verifies the saved inventory result.
• Card Lister marks the eBay workflow Listed after it verifies both the eBay result and the inventory handoff. For a Mana Pool-only push, use Inventory Manager > Batches to follow the staged import and background publish.

5. Check the inventory result

After Push to Inventory completes, open Inventory Manager > Inventory and confirm the new listing, physical location, available quantity, SKU, photo, and eBay item link.

1. Use Find Duplicates only for duplicate or combine decisions.
2. Queue a combine only after confirming the parent, children, card identity, Variant, and Condition.
3. Click Apply Pending Changes to apply the approved local combine. eBay is still unchanged at this point.
4. Inventory changes that need a live eBay update remain queued until Push to eBay.

6. Pull sold cards with Order Pick List

Order Pick List is the daily pull workflow. It keeps active picks, order import, and picked history separate from Inventory Manager.

1. Open Order Pick List.
2. On Pick List, click Sync eBay Orders. If needed, use Order Import for an awaiting-shipment orders report.
3. Resolve any short, stale, or needs-review row before shipping.
4. Pull the card from the shown Pull Location.
5. Click Mark Picked after the physical card is pulled and before purchasing shipping on eBay.
6. Use Download Pick CSV for a printable pull sheet and Picked History for completed pulls.

7. Publish queued inventory changes

Use Inventory Manager > Publish for queued quantity, SKU, combine, end-listing, or older queued price changes. The page heading is Push to eBay. For a new single-listing price change, edit the row's Price in Inventory and confirm Update eBay.

1. For quantity, SKU, combine, or end-listing changes, leave Check eBay Orders checked and click Push to eBay. Card Throne prepares the exact preview and checks recent orders first.
2. If the order check changes inventory or finds a shortage or unresolved line, review the refreshed queue and click Push to eBay again.
3. A price-only change does not run Check eBay Orders because it leaves SKUs and quantities alone. A single-row Update eBay price edit starts after your confirmation and does not wait for the bulk queue.
4. Use Review exact changes when you want to inspect the saved preview before the publish job starts.
5. Fix every listed blocker. If a job reaches its revision cap, wait for it to finish, then run Push to eBay again for the remaining queue.

8. Refresh listings after outside edits

Card Lister Push to Inventory results appear automatically. If you create or edit listings directly in eBay, Seller Hub, or another tool, open Inventory Manager > Imports and use Check for changes. Use this after your first import. It checks the active-listing changes eBay exposes from roughly the last 48 hours.

Run a fresh Import from eBay or upload a fresh original Active Listings CSV after major outside edits, a change of account or marketplace, or a gap that may have missed older changes. Use a full import to review ended or missing listings. These imports do not import orders or publish changes to eBay.
