Price and reprice eBay listings

Check the exact printing and condition, choose your seller price, then review the action that sends it to eBay. A market reference, a saved price, and a confirmed live price are different numbers.

Read the price fields

PriceWhat it means

Inventory priceThe locally saved or mirrored listing price. Read pending-update status before treating it as live.
Live eBay priceThe price eBay confirms for the listing.

Compare the same card, finish, condition, language, grading status, and sale unit. A price for a different printing is not a useful shortcut.

Check the exact card

  • Confirm game, set, card number, and name.
  • Check finish and printing, including foil, reverse holofoil, promos, and reprints.
  • Use the actual condition of your copy.
  • For slabs, check grader, grade, and certification. Raw-card market values do not price a slab.
  • For lots, price the complete bundle.

If the match is uncertain, resolve it before applying a pricing formula.

Set a pricing rule you can review

Compare recent sold evidence with current asking prices. Include shipping consistently and account for fees, postage, supplies, and your handling time.

Use the eBay Fee Calculator to estimate a sale. In Configuration, save your multiplier, minimum, rounding, or advanced rules in a profile. Review valuable cards and unusual conditions individually.

A market reference is not a guaranteed sale price. If you use a missing-condition estimate, read its label and check whether it is reasonable for that copy.

Price a Card Lister batch

  1. Open Configuration Profiles > Pricing and save the eBay defaults.
  2. Select the profile in the batch and confirm each card match.
  3. Review Your Price in List.
  4. Run Check Readiness.
  5. Export the eBay CSV or approve the direct eBay publish.

For a suggested Inventory merge, the existing eBay price is preserved by default. Choose the Card Lister price only when you want to change the existing listing's price.

Reprice existing inventory

Change one listing

  1. Find the row in Inventory.
  2. Edit eBay Price.
  3. Confirm Update eBay.
  4. Check the result. If the update failed, use its retry action after resolving the error.

Review several listings

  1. Select rows in Inventory and choose Reprice, or choose an explicit All filtered selection.
  2. Select a saved pricing template and choose Build Preview.
  3. Read every old and new price, plus excluded or blocked rows.
  4. Choose Update Prices to start the live price update. There is no second publishing screen.

For an imported batch, Batches > Reprice eBay also lets you review the proposed prices before approval. For variation rows excluded from a bulk preview, open Variation Editor to review the children.

Update eBay and Update Prices approve live price changes. These actions do not change SKUs or physical quantities. The saved marketplace price updates after eBay accepts the change.

Resolve pricing problems

  • If a market value looks wrong, check printing, language, and condition before changing the formula.
  • If a preview excludes a row, read its reason. Missing market data, unlisted rows, and variations need a different next step.
  • If the preview becomes stale, rebuild it from the current rows before approval.
  • If a live update is interrupted, keep the pending change and use its recovery path in Inventory or Publish.
