How to bulk upload cards to TCGplayer with a CSV

Use TCGplayer export for supported raw singles

TCGplayer CSV is a Card Lister inventory export. It is intentionally narrower than the eBay workflow.

If the sale unit is a lot or slab, choose eBay CSV or the appropriate eBay workflow so the marketplace representation remains honest.

Understand why TCGplayer ID means SKU ID

In the generated file, the column named TCGplayer ID requires TCGplayer’s SKU-level ID. That ID selects the exact inventory row for a condition, printing or finish, and language.

Card Throne first uses an exact SKU already attached to the card. If needed, the export service can resolve the SKU from current catalog variant data. If no exact SKU can be proven, the export blocks that row instead of guessing.

Prepare a destination-ready Card Lister batch

1. Build a raw-singles batch. Use uploaded photos or stock-image search, then save the batch.
2. Confirm the card identity. Check product line, set, name, number, and rarity.
3. Confirm the variant fields. Choose the exact condition, printing or finish, and language required by the marketplace SKU.
4. Review quantity and price. The TCGplayer file adds inventory quantity and a TCG Marketplace Price for each exact SKU.
5. Run Check Readiness. Resolve blockers and review warnings such as a missing price, card number, or front image.

The exact marketplace SKU is not your seller or inventory SKU. When it is not already saved locally, export uses the TCGplayer product ID to attempt an exact catalog resolution for the selected condition, printing, and language. If the backend cannot prove that SKU, the row is blocked and can be submitted through the SKU Gaps report flow.

Export the TCGplayer CSV

1. Open the saved batch in Card Lister.
2. Choose Export CSV.
3. Select TCGplayer CSV.
4. Review the destination-specific readiness report.
5. Fix every blocker and export again.
6. Download the non-empty CSV and upload it through the current TCGplayer seller inventory import workflow.

Know what Card Throne writes to the file

• TCGplayer ID: exact marketplace SKU ID.
• Product Line, Set Name, Product Name, Number, and Rarity: readable card identity.
• Condition: the TCGplayer condition/printing label derived from the reviewed row.
• Add to Quantity: the quantity Card Throne is adding for that SKU.
• TCG Market Price: the raw market reference.
• TCG Marketplace Price: the seller export price derived from the profile and any configured TCGplayer minimum.
• Photo URL: the available listing image reference.

Rows with the same exact marketplace SKU and the same export price are combined by adding their quantities. If the same SKU appears with different proposed marketplace prices, Card Throne blocks the export so one row cannot silently win.

Resolve TCGplayer export blockers

• Missing TCGplayer SKU: return to Match, confirm the exact card and variant, and try again. If the export offers to report missing SKUs, send the structured gap for review.
• Unsupported game: use a marketplace/output supported for that game; do not relabel the product line.
• Slab or lot: choose an eBay output that preserves the actual sale unit.
• Price conflict on one SKU: give every copy using that exact SKU the same intended marketplace price or split the inventory decision outside the combined upload.
• Incorrect condition or finish: fix the Card Lister row before export. Do not edit only the ID cell in the finished CSV.
